Talking about Costco Gelato takes you on a nostalgic ride of those amazing days when we used to visit Costco to try their Special luxurious gelato dessert from the Costco Food Court menu. Unfortunately, we can no longer enjoy the famous Gelato of Costco as it was discontinued at Costco Food Court around 2015.

Gelato was available in two tempting deals at the food court, making it a fan favorite. Customers could enjoy “3 scoops served in a waffle cone” for just $1.50, a delightful and pocket-friendly treat perfect for those seeking a quick dessert. Alternatively, the “Hand-packed quart to go” offered a generous serving of gelato for only $4.99, making it a perfect deal to enjoy with your loved ones. Flavors included classic options like creamy vanilla, rich chocolate, refreshing mixed berries, and nutty pistachio, ensuring something for everyone.

Final Words

The removal of gelato from Costco’s menu shocked Costco fans, as it was one of the famous items there, so there was no reason to discontinue it. However,  as Costco Food Court is famous for occasionally making unannounced changes to its menu, you can expect these kinds of things from them.

The only good part of discontinuing the Gelato was they added some exciting frozen dessert options to the Costco Food Court. Sundaes, Smoothies, and different flavors of ice creams were introduced later at the Food Court, which was warmly welcomed by Costco fans. Still, Gelato remains a cherished memory for many Costco Food lovers.
